o    Free pregnancy testing with immediate results – no appointment necessary

o    Assistance working through options with trained lay counselors

o    Referrals to free or low cost medical, housing, and other social service providers

o    Pregnancy verification and assistance with ACCCHS applications

o    Parenting advice, education, and support

Earn While You Learn

WithChild uses a program entitled EARN WHILE YOU LEARN, which is designed to help our clients have healthier pregnancies and become better mothers, while providing the baby items they need. The program pairs each client with a volunteer counselor who meets with her regularly to discuss a variety of subjects.

Clients earn WithChild “points” by watching videos, meeting with counselors, or reading brochures – learning about things like nutrition, childbirth, child development, and parenting. The “points” can then be used to “buy” items she needs for her baby: clothes, car seats, diapers, etc.

The more you learn the more you earn- it’s up to you! Now that we have instituted the EARN WHILE YOU LEARN program, we will no longer hand out clothing and baby items except to first-time clients in need, and to those who have earned WithChild points. We want to offer ourselves as friends and mentors, to help our clients become better mothers with healthy children and strong families.
